Multi Pass Activities
Check Availability, Prices & Book Online Now
In the past a mountain holiday was viewed as a potentially pricey trip, forking out for pool entry, lift passes and various activities. That all changed in 2009 with the Portes du Soleil Multi Pass. For just €2.50 a day you can get access to lifts, pools and numerous other activities, across all Portes du Soleil resorts. Many other activities offer a reduced rate to Multi Pass Holders. Just speak to Jo in advance so she can provide the vouchers you need to get this special rate. Included in the pass are…..
Lifts
All the lifts through the Portes du Soleil are included in the Multi Pass for walkers (mountain bikers need a seperate pass). Use these to access high mountain walks, stunning views, and explore further afield.
Morzine Swimming Pool
There’s a large Olympic size outdoor pool so you can swim looking up at the mountains, and rest by the side taking in the view. Outside there’s plenty of space to pass the day, plus a kids pool and a flume. For bad weather days there’s an indoor swimming pool, with paddling pool for young children. There’s also an onsite restaurant, and a sauna and hammam that mum or dad can make use of (extra cost on top of Multi Pass)! Located in the “Parc des Dérêches” area, you can combine a visit to the pool with the playground, pony riding, high roped adventure park, or one of the other activities on offer.
Les Gets swimming lake – lac des Ecoles
A lake designed with kids swimming in mind! There’s a safe swimming area, a slide, a playpark close by, and plenty of space to play and relax in. The safety attendant is present every afternoon. Access to the grounds and swimming area is free with the Multi Pass.
Tennis
Available in Morzine, Les Gets, Le Biot, Le Corbier and Avoriaz. Just make sure you book to be sure of getting a court at your preferred time. The court is free with the Portes du Soleil Multi Pass, but you’ll need to bring equipment or hire.
Lake Montriond
An exceptional hang out place. A large natural lake which is great for canoeing and paddle boarding (equipment available to hire), while the small purpose built lake is perfect for kids to swim in and play by. There are pony rides available, mini golf (included with the multipass) and some beautiful walks. Take a picnic and spend the day gazing up at the impressive Avoriaz cliffs, or go to one of the restaurants bordering the lake.
Abbaye d’Aulps
A beautiful old ruined medieval abbey in St Jean d’Aulps to wander around, taking in the medicinal garden and vegetable patch. There are also exhibitions in the Discovery Centre. The Multi Pass gives you free entry to both.
Ice skating
The indoor ice rink at Morzine is a great extra activity in case of bad weather. It’s open every afternoon and some evenings. Access is free with the Multi Pass, but you’ll need to hire skates. Also keep an eye out for ice hockey games. They’re not included in the pass, but well worth checking out if one’s on while you’re in town.
Petit train
Always a winner when you need to fill a bit of time with little ones! You can keep them occupied with a free ride round the village on the petit train in either Morzine or Les Gets. Designed as a useful way of getting across the village centres, it’s also a fun ride for children. Les Gets also offer special heritage tours on the train with different themes.
Mini golf
Take the lift (free with your Multi Pass) for a day out in Avoriaz. The village alone is worth a wander round, marvelling at the unusual architecture – the buildings are designed to blend into the cliff face when viewed from a distance. But while you’re there, use the Multi Pass for a fun game of crazy golf, and of course a visit to Aquariaz.
Mechanical Music Museum
It may not be the first thing that springs to mind when you think of Les Gets, but in certain circles the village is very well known for Mechanical Music. There’s a special festival each July, and throughout the year the museum is open to wander round. Free entry with the Multi Pass.
