Apartment la Ranche was newly renovated in 2014. The owners cleverly married contemporary furnishings and appliances with a cosy Alpine feel. It is on the first floor of a family house in Montriond, just a couple of minutes walk from the centre of this very pretty village with a lovely gastro-pub, restaurant and shops. The chalet is on the bus route to the Ardent télécabine, giving very easy access to the full Portes du Soleil ski area. Montriond is on the outskirts of Morzine, which is a 5 minute drive or bus ride away. It is a lovely quiet area on the much sought after sunny south side of the valley.
The bright, spacious apartment is split over 3 levels, making it feel more like a house than an apartment. Throughout Apartment la Ranche you’ll find great views over the village and the surrounding mountains.
The Accommodation
The large open plan living area has a well-equipped fully fitted kitchen with everything you’ll need to cook up a storm during your stay. With a spacious open feel, no one will feel alienated from the group whilst cooking. The dining area seats 8 people round a modern gloss black table. The large seating area has two very comfy contemporary sofas and the underfloor heating gives a lovely cosy feel. The TV has Netflix & Amazon Prime, and there is a bluetooth speaker for music. There are also a lot of games and toys for kids. The wrap around balcony offers stunning views in all directions as you enjoy a sundowner and chat about the day’s exploits on the ski pistes!
The entrance hallway has a handy space for storing ski equipment and drying wet gear.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
Bedroom one is on the first floor and has large windows opening out onto a balcony and amazing views over Mont Chery. This bedroom has 2 single beds, but can also be made up as a king-size double room. It has an ensuite shower room with underfloor heating and a heated towel rail. The second bedroom is located off the lounge and also has 2 single beds that can be made up as a kingsize double bed if preferred. The ensuite shower room has underfloor heating and a heated towel rail. Bedroom three is up a small staircase off the lounge and is a family room. It has a double bed, and a built in single bed on a platform and an ensuite shower room. All rooms have ample storage, and are finished to a very high standard.
Jo will meet and greet you when you arrive and is always on hand to help with any questions you have. The chalet will be spotlessly clean for your arrival, and all beds made up. We’ll make sure your Morzine ski holiday runs as smoothly as possible.

We accept bookings for a minimum of 3 nights, except during the peak school holiday weeks where we have a 7 night minimum. Bookings for 7 nights or more benefit from a 33% discount off the nightly rate.

Apartment la Ranche Location
The apartment is ideally located on the bus route up to the Ardent télécabine, for easy access to Avoriaz and Chatel. The journey time is around 5 minutes either by car or the free ski bus. It is also a couple of minutes walk into the centre of the village of Montriond, where there is a ski shop, convenience store, restaurant and bar.
